Weather Unit

We have started this crazy first week back with our WEATHER UNIT! It's been fun and fabulous!  Here are just a few things weve been working on.

Weather Anchor Chart

Cloud People
I used this little cloud family to show the varying heights and sizes of the different cloud formations.  After we read Shapes In The Sky: A Book About Clouds, the students helped me label them!
I got this great idea from Babbling Abby over at The Inspired Apple.

This is the response sheet we used to write about the different cloud formations.  Click on the picture to get one!

This is our buddy Roy G. Biv.  We will be talking about the colors of the rainbow and we will make this little guy to remember the order!  I got this great idea from Made for 1st Grade

Here is a picture of one of my kiddos shaking the bottle to make a tornado... an oldie but goodie!

I dont know about ya'll but Hunger Games comes out this weekend and I am planning a fabulous ladies night to try and catch it!  I hope its as amazing as the book!

Heres the trailer if you havent seen it!

Happy Wednesday!
